About the Role
As the Assistant Facilities Manager at the Pleasant Prairie Distribution Center, you will set the standard for facilities excellence. This role requires a hands-on approach to inspections and maintenance, where you will oversee several teams including maintenance, security, grounds, and custodial workers. You will assign duties across carpentry, electrical, painting, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, and security systems, ensuring the facility operates smoothly and safely.
In this position, you will routinely inspect buildings, sites, and equipment to identify needed repairs and respond to emergency maintenance requests. You will also work with vendors to oversee the execution of contracted services and maintain detailed records, preparing reports for management review regarding work orders, staffing, and audits. The role involves assisting with maintenance work directly and requires availability for after-hours and weekend on-call services as needed.
Hiring Process
All new hires must complete a pre-employment hair follicle drug screening. This position is on-site at the Pleasant Prairie Distribution Center.
