As an Assistant Maintenance, you will be the backbone of property integrity and resident satisfaction. You will assist the maintenance supervisor in ensuring all duties are carried out with safety first and in strict accordance with Valiant Residential policies. This role is pivotal in maintaining the physical condition of the property while working closely with the leasing team to maximize renewal and leasing opportunities.
Your day will involve a dynamic mix of hands-on repair work and proactive property management. You will be responsible for completing resident service requests within 24 hours, managing the on-call rotation, and performing routine maintenance on a wide array of systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances. Beyond repairs, you will ensure the property is inspection-ready, maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, and immediately correct any unsafe conditions to protect residents and staff.
