About the Role
The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine (COM), one of the oldest medical schools in the country, partners with the UC Health academic healthcare system and Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center to transform the world of medicine. The Department of Surgery is a top-tier department with world-renowned faculty and staff dedicated to training best-in-class health care professionals and developing cutting-edge research.
We are seeking two Business Administrators to serve as Assistant Directors of Operations and Finance. In this role, you will utilize critical decision-making and relationship-building skills to support divisions within the department. You will be responsible for accurate forecasting, agile responses to business trends, and using data to drive financial and business operations. Your day-to-day work involves administering specialized activities, reporting to management, and providing strategic recommendations on process-related topics while ensuring compliance with local, state, federal, and university regulations. You will act as a vital link between the health system, the College of Medicine, and the physician group to ensure the successful execution of the tripartite mission of education, research, and patient services.
