The Assistant Branch Manager I (ABM I) serves as a vital operational partner within our small-branch network, ensuring seamless delivery of financial services to our members. This role is designed to bridge the gap between frontline execution and strategic leadership, providing the immediate approval authority and decision-making support necessary to maintain high standards of service and compliance.
In this position, you will act as the primary back-up for the Branch Manager, assuming full operational responsibility in their absence. Your day-to-day focus centers on the teller line, where you will guide staff activities, manage workflow, and ensure that every interaction reflects our commitment to personalized, needs-based service. Beyond operational oversight, you play a key role in driving our sales goals by supporting Relationship Specialists and Managers in their cross-selling and referral objectives, helping to expand our members' financial relationships.
You will be the face of the Credit Union during complex member escalations, using sound judgment to resolve sensitive account issues with equity and professionalism. Whether conducting audits, training new staff, or coordinating business continuity plans, your work ensures that our branch remains a secure, efficient, and welcoming environment for our community.
