Residence Requirement
Residence in the City of Buffalo is mandatory for all positions. Applicants must demonstrate ninety (90) days of continuous and uninterrupted residence in the City prior to filing, unless applying for the Buffalo Police Entry Level Examination. City ordinances mandate continuous residency during employment, except for positions specifically exempt under state law.

About the Role
This position involves professional auditing work of more than ordinary difficulty, requiring the application of advanced auditing techniques to a variety of general auditing assignments. The role operates under general supervision, allowing for independent action contingent on the nature of the assignments. While unusual policy or procedural questions are referred to a supervisor for decision, the incumbent may exercise supervision over personnel.
