The Asphalt Plant Division is part of our Production Group and plays an important role in supporting our paving and construction operations. We operate three asphalt plant locations in North Charleston, Summerville, and Walterboro. At each facility, our team unloads granite stone, crushes recycled asphalt and concrete, produces asphalt, loads trucks, and prepares materials for jobs throughout the Lowcountry.
This team helps ensure our crews and customers receive the materials they need safely, accurately, and on time. Our plants operate day and night to support project schedules and customer needs.
As an Assistant Asphalt Plant Operator, you will support daily ground operations at our asphalt plants, crushers, and unloading facilities. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, working around equipment, and being part of the production side of heavy civil construction.
You will be the backbone of our plant operations, helping to keep materials organized, assisting with basic maintenance, and supporting unloading operations. Working closely with the plant team, you will help keep production running safely and efficiently. This role is ideal for a dependable, safety-minded individual who is eager to learn plant operations, material handling, and basic maintenance tasks in a team-oriented environment.
