The Assembler is a vital member of the production team in Sparks, MD, responsible for executing a wide variety of assembly operations on electronic and mechanical instruments. This position bridges the gap between blueprint specifications and finished products, handling everything from repetitive wiring tasks to complex prototype rework. The role demands a technician who can work from detailed diagrams and work instructions while maintaining strict adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
In this capacity, you will build, integrate, and troubleshoot multiple product lines, ensuring that sub-assemblies are correctly fitted into complete instruments. The day-to-day involves a blend of manual dexterity and technical judgment, including hand soldering, cable harnessing, and performing routine to moderately complex troubleshooting activities. You will also play a key role in continuous improvement initiatives, offering guidance to associates and interfacing with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality teams to optimize processes.
