About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Asbestos Analyst to join our team in Folsom, CA. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety of built environments by performing high-precision analysis of bulk samples using Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM).
In this position, you will prepare and analyze environmental samples according to scientific methodologies, strictly adhering to company Quality Assurance programs and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Your work involves validating and reviewing data for accuracy, entering laboratory data into the LIMS to generate client reports, and managing sample workloads to meet due dates and hold times. You will exercise discretion and judgment in operating specialized laboratory equipment and may be called upon to assist with training, root cause analysis, and Lean initiatives.
Relocation assistance is available for experienced candidates. While the primary focus is on asbestos analysis, you will also support other departments and participate in the pursuit and maintenance of laboratory accreditations.
