We are seeking an experienced Asbestos Analyst to join our team in Tustin, CA, with potential for other California locations. In this role, you will be a vital part of our quality assurance and testing operations, performing critical analysis of bulk samples using Polarizing Light Microscopy (PLM). Your work directly contributes to the safety of our clients and the communities they serve by ensuring accurate identification of asbestos, mold, bacteria, and other environmental hazards.
You will operate with a high degree of independence and judgment, preparing and analyzing environmental samples according to strict scientific methodologies and company Quality Assurance programs. A significant portion of your day involves validating and reviewing data for accuracy, entering results into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), and generating reports for clients. You will also play a key role in maintaining laboratory standards by assisting with QA processes, managing equipment, and supporting the development of necessary accreditations.
