This position is responsible for the development of independent account business with an emphasis on overall profitability through both new sales and account penetration. You will promote and sell company-branded products to meet brand sales objectives. The role involves analyzing sales territories and individual customers to generate additional business, planning sales strategies, and conducting effective presentations. You will grow sales and profit margins on an ongoing basis to meet established goals.
In this role, you will set up new customer accounts, determine pricing, and coordinate with the Credit Department and other personnel for order-taking and deliveries. You will ensure customer satisfaction by providing an exemplary level of service and working closely with center personnel to resolve problems. Additionally, you may be personally responsible for making deliveries in emergency situations. You will build additional business with current customers through product penetration to maximize account profitability and monitor accounts for compliance with credit terms.

A high school diploma or GED is required. A bachelor's degree in Business Management, Sales/Marketing, or a related area, along with 1-2 years of foodservice sales experience, is preferred.
