We are Olsson, a people-centric firm that engineers and designs solutions to improve the world around us. Since opening our doors in 1956, our mindset has been to be responsive, transparent, and focused on results for our people, our clients, and our company. We believe our greatest asset is our people, fostering an environment that encourages growth and creativity. This unique culture allows us to grow our business while making a lasting impact on the communities we serve.
At Olsson, we help clients across multiple states navigate complex historical and archaeological compliance landscapes with ease. This role is critical for ensuring proactive adherence to key historical preservation laws and regulations, including the Section 106 review process under the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA). You will work to empower clients to achieve their project goals while preserving our historical heritage.
As a multifaceted team member, you will lead compliance projects, perform cultural resource assessments, and engage with regulatory agencies. Your day will involve coordinating with clients, collaborating with team members and external consultants, and mentoring others in complex compliance work. You will also lead client and regulatory meetings, ensuring transparent communication and effective stakeholder engagement.
We are open to considering candidates in a variety of locations, including areas where we may not currently have an office presence. While we have active openings in Fayetteville, AR; Little Rock, AR; Lincoln, NE; Omaha, NE; Overland Park, KS; Oklahoma City, OK; Colorado Springs, CO; Loveland, CO; and Denver, CO, we welcome candidates interested in other locations as well.
As an Olsson employee, you will be empowered to build your career with tailored development paths and engage in work that has a positive impact on communities. We offer a competitive 401(k) match, the possibility for flexible work arrangements, and a wellness program promoting balanced lifestyles. Full-time employees also receive a traditional benefits package including health care, vision, dental, paid time off, and the opportunity to participate in a performance-based bonus system.
Olsson is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We encourage qualified minority, female, veteran, and disabled candidates to apply and be considered for open positions. We do not discriminate against any applicant for employment or any employee because of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender, disability, age, military status, or other protected status.
To apply, please submit your resume and relevant documentation regarding your qualifications under the Secretary of the Interior (SOI) Professional Qualification Standards (36 CFR 61). We look forward to reviewing your application and potentially welcoming you to our team.
