About the Role
We are seeking a highly technical Project Engineer to serve as a cornerstone for architectural design and engineering support within our regulated manufacturing environment. This role is critical for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of GMP and non-GMP utility systems, with a specific focus on HVAC infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between complex facility operations and rigorous engineering standards, utilizing deep knowledge of airflow, process flow, and facility flow dynamics.
In this position, you will act as a hands-on troubleshooter capable of analyzing system trends and diagnosing complex utility issues. Your work will directly impact the operational integrity of the facility, requiring you to interpret technical documentation, manage compliance activities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide engineering support for GMP and non-GMP facilities, utilities, and related equipment
- check_circleParticipate in facility and utility system design activities ensuring adherence to engineering practices
- check_circleInvestigate system issues and process deviations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- check_circleManage quality and compliance activities including change controls, deviations, and CAPAs
- check_circleAnalyze operational and performance data trends to enhance system reliability and efficiency
- check_circleRead and interpret P&IDs, engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
- check_circleDevelop, review, and revise SOPs and technical documentation to ensure cGMP compliance
- check_circleCollaborate cross-functionally with Facilities, Engineering, Operations, and Quality departments
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related discipline)
- verified5+ years of experience in GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences environment
- verifiedStrong technical knowledge of HVAC systems
- verifiedAbility to read and interpret P&IDs, engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
- verifiedStrong understanding of cGMP requirements and regulatory compliance
- verifiedExperience managing change controls, deviations, CAPAs, and quality documentation
