The Billing Department within our multi-specialty orthopedic group is dedicated to maintaining the integrity of our revenue cycle while ensuring patients receive exceptional care. We operate in Arlington, TX, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and compassionate service delivery across all specialties.
The AR/Billing Analyst serves as a vital link between our clinical teams, insurance carriers, and patients. This role is designed to manage the entire revenue cycle, from initial charge entry through the final collection of insurance and patient payments. You will work directly with the Revenue Cycle Manager to ensure that claims are processed correctly and that payments are posted accurately.
In this position, you will navigate an electronic claims worklist to investigate claim statuses, appeal denials, and resubmit claims with necessary medical records. A key part of your day involves collaborating with Athena to verify claim processing and resolving billing discrepancies, whether they result in overpayments or underpayments. You will also establish payment plans to assist patients in managing their financial obligations and communicate any emerging trends or discrepancies to leadership immediately.
Beyond technical billing tasks, this role requires strong interpersonal skills. You will serve as a primary point of contact for inquiries from insurance carriers, patients, and internal staff, including doctors and nurses. Ensuring that medical records are complete, current, and accurate is essential to your success, as you will frequently confer with health personnel to support the billing process.
Candidates selected for an interview will be contacted directly by the hiring team to schedule a conversation regarding their experience and qualifications.
We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
