About the Role
As the Director of Sales, Annuities, you will serve as the strategic engine for growing our annuity sales nationally. This role is designed to bridge the gap between JSA's robust portfolio and the broader insurance market. You will be responsible for recruiting new insurance agencies and agents to join the JSA network while simultaneously working with existing partners to develop their annuity businesses and increase sales volume.
Your day-to-day involves being the first line of contact for insurance agency principals, their downlines, and independent JSA agents. You will guide agents through appointment and onboarding processes with our carrier partners and provide comprehensive training on marketing strategies, prospecting, sales tools, quoting, underwriting, and compliance. Beyond training, you will manage CO-OP arrangements, assess sales activities, and proactively resolve contract, commission, and enrollment issues. This position requires representing JSA at industry events and traveling up to 30% of the time to drive engagement and support our producers.

Requirements
- verified5+ years sales experience in financial or life insurance industry
- verifiedProven experience in annuity sales
- verifiedInsurance license required
- verifiedBachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred
- verifiedKnowledge of Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Medicare Part D preferred
- verifiedExperience in Broker or Provider service managing key accounts preferred

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Knowledge of Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Medicare Part D, and other Senior Market focused insurance products. Experience in Broker or Provider service, managing key accounts.
