About the Role
As a Nurse Anesthetist at Baptist Easley Med Campus, you will respond to the anesthetic needs of patients and coordinate their care with other perioperative personnel during the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases. Under the medical direction of staff anesthesiologists, you will administer anesthesia services for medical and surgical procedures relevant to the facility. This role also involves responding to emergent airway management needs as required.
You will work in a dynamic environment where you formulate anesthetic plans, discuss risks and options with patients, and perform specialized line placement procedures. Your day will involve meticulous documentation of patient data, maintaining age-specific technical competence in anesthesia skills, and staying current with advancements in anesthesia pharmacology and technology. By utilizing a systematic approach to minimize risk, you will help maintain a safe practice environment for both patients and providers.
Location and Schedule
This position is located at the Baptist Easley Med Campus (2329 Oconee Anesthesiology). The work shift is variable, and the role may require on-call availability, either in-house or from home, as needed by the facility.
