This position serves as a Registered Nurse within the NCH ENT Clinic network, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. The role is dedicated to assisting patients and families in navigating their episode of care rapidly, safely, and effectively. As a key member of the clinical team, you will provide nursing care using a family-centered approach, ensuring that every interaction supports positive patient and family outcomes.
The position requires floating between all NCH ENT Clinic locations, including the Main Campus in Columbus, Westerville, Dublin, Lewis Center, New Albany, Marysville, Mansfield, and Cover Mileage areas. The standard shift runs from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Evening shifts are also available, typically ending around 7:00 PM.
You will work closely with providers and other team members to ensure a smooth clinic flow, addressing patient and parent concerns as they arise. The role actively engages in the "workplace community" by staying informed of organizational changes, participating in data collection and auditing, and contributing to Quality Improvement initiatives. Staff members are encouraged to represent their colleagues at relevant meetings and share important updates back to the team.
