About the Role
The Assistant Manager is a key part of our operations leadership team, assisting the General Manager in the day-to-day operations of a facility. This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role where you will be truly empowered to act like an owner of your facility on a day-to-day basis. You will oversee the facility and fleet while helping to hire, train, and manage our amazing staff members.
This position serves as a significant stepping stone into our management team. Our Assistant Manager roles offer substantial growth opportunities, with over 70% of Assistant Managers promoted into General Manager roles. Key Responsibilities
- check_circleOversee the physical condition and appearance of the facility and fleet
- check_circleTrain employees to perform their specific responsibilities effectively
- check_circleManage all customer service issues that may arise during operations
- check_circleComply with all applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations governing commercial vehicle operations
- check_circleComplete projects relating to operational improvements, maintenance, and shuttle repair
- check_circleEnforce all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook
- check_circleSupervise employee performance during shifts to ensure operational standards are met
- check_circleRespond to staffing needs by contacting employees to cover shifts or personally covering shifts
Requirements
