You will join the SOF GLSS team, responsible for delivering high-impact structural maintenance and repair services that sustain critical rotary-wing platforms for Special Operations Forces. This position supports the U.S. Special Operations Command's (USSOCOM) largest service contract vehicle, providing a wide range of tailored logistics, maintenance, and sustainment services.

As an Aircraft Structural Mechanic 1, you will support a 2nd shift operation in Lexington, Kentucky. You will perform structural modifications, damage assessments, and repairs on both flight-line and depot aircraft. Your day-to-day work involves fabricating, installing, and replacing sheet-metal and composite panels, fairings, and structural parts per engineering drawings. You will interpret engineering drawings, repair manuals, and service bulletins while accurately documenting work in maintenance logs.
This role requires high-precision work with tight tolerances, including countersinking, deburring, match-drilling assemblies, and installing various fasteners to specification. The work is performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
