About the Role
The Aide Parent Liaison serves as a vital bridge between schools and families, empowering parents to navigate the educational system and actively support their children's academic and social success. This role is dedicated to promoting meaningful parent engagement by providing clear information, connecting families to essential resources, and fostering a collaborative environment where students thrive.
In this position, you will work closely with district personnel—including social workers, counselors, psychologists, and administrators—to ensure a continuum of support from feeder schools through the local community. Your day-to-day efforts will focus on building strong rapport with students, parents, and staff to facilitate proper student adjustment and progress. You will act as the primary contact for families with questions about school services, events, and activities, while also cultivating parental interest through advocacy and involvement in school-connected organizations.
