The Affordable Housing Regional Compliance Manager serves as a critical guardian of regulatory integrity for our multifamily housing portfolio in North Carolina. This role ensures that our properties strictly adhere to a complex web of federal, state, and local regulations, including LIHTC, HUD, Section 8, and County Affordable Programs. You will act as the bridge between property managers, government agencies, and tenants, overseeing tenant eligibility, verifying income documentation, and conducting audits to maintain program compliance.
This is an in-office position based out of one of our managed apartment communities in Charlotte and surrounding cities. Candidates must reside in or near these areas to effectively support our local properties. The role demands a self-starter who can take ownership of projects in a fast-paced environment, interpreting regulations to guide site staff and ensuring accurate reporting for tax credit properties and electronic submissions.
