Raytheon Airborne Spectrum Dominance is seeking an experienced Program Quality Engineer for the Advanced Sensor Program Area. In this on-site role based in McKinney, Texas, you will implement and guide quality and mission assurance across programs, managing the flow-down of customer quality requirements from proposal through execution. You will serve as the voice of the customer, autonomously assuring mission results and success while ensuring RTX suppliers, products, and processes remain compliant with internal, customer, and industry standards.
As a key member of the team, you will drive quality, operational excellence, and program success. You will act as the primary point of contact for quality, interfacing across functions, key suppliers, and customers to ensure technical quality, financial performance, and compliance with RTX procedures. Your work will involve collaborating with program teams to focus on quality, cost, and schedule performance, providing early engagement and strategic insights to influence outcomes. You will champion continuous improvement by leading the adoption of the Customer Oriented Results & Excellence (CORE) Operating System and its tools to enhance business outcomes and process implementation.
You will take ownership of problem-solving initiatives, including Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Failure Review and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) activities, ensuring systemic issues are addressed to improve product quality. Additionally, you will oversee quality performance in a production lab environment, collaborate with Design Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain on product maturation strategies, and ensure customer success by addressing needs and delivering exceptional results.
This position requires an active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance prior to the start date.
