This position serves as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse within the Comprehensive Care Center, providing advanced, specialized nursing care to individuals living with HIV. You will perform comprehensive primary and specialty care, assessing risk factors, interpreting laboratory results, and initiating appropriate referrals. The role involves performing histories, physicals, and diagnostic procedures while developing, implementing, and modifying plans of care that address physical, psychosocial, and environmental status.
You will work under the supervision of a physician and in accordance with established clinical protocols, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams on HIV prevention and treatment initiatives. The role also includes providing STD and family planning services, utilizing Telehealth/Telemedicine, and offering quality educational opportunities to nurse practitioners, physician assistant students, and medical residents.
