Catholic Health Services (CHS) is seeking a dedicated Admissions Coordinator to join our team in South Florida. The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients and families, ensuring a smooth and welcoming admission process into our healthcare facilities. This role requires a compassionate individual who can effectively manage multiple administrative tasks while upholding the values and quality standards of CHS.
In this position, you will coordinate the patient admission journey from the initial contact through to actual placement. You will act as a vital bridge, communicating with incoming patients, families, and referrers to provide timely and accurate information regarding services and procedures. Success in this role involves working closely with medical, nursing, and billing staff to ensure a seamless admission experience for everyone involved.
You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records while strictly adhering to confidentiality standards. A key part of your day will involve assessing and responding to individual patient needs and special requests, making necessary arrangements for accommodations. Additionally, you will handle inquiries and potential complaints, providing solutions that align with CHS policies and patient care standards.
