The Child Research and Study Center is an official university-based unit serving as a longstanding, externally funded hub of interdisciplinary scholarship dedicated to improving student outcomes across academic and developmental domains. For decades, the Center has sustained competitive federal, state, and foundation funding to design, evaluate, and scale evidence-based practices. These practices integrate social-emotional and behavioral health with literacy development, areas widely shown to be interconnected in promoting student success.

The Administrative Manager serves as the operational backbone for The New York State Pyramid Model Implementation and Scale-up project. This role is critical for organizing and coordinating office administrative procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. You will support the execution of activities defined by the project's annual workplan and deliverables, which are funded by the Preschool Development Birth through Five Initiative (PDG B-5) Grant from the Administration for Children and Families, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Your day-to-day impact involves managing personnel paperwork, maintaining secure record-keeping systems, and ensuring the integrity of confidential data. You will facilitate communication by attending meetings to record minutes, coordinating logistical needs for quarterly State Leadership Team meetings and the annual in-person Pyramid Model Summit, and assisting participants through registration and credential processes. Additionally, you will help manage project social media accounts and synthesize data summaries from Regional Coordinators to support statewide efforts.
