About the Team

The Pima County Health Department is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of all residents. About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Administrative Assistant III to support daily operations within the Health Department. This position is essential for maintaining efficient communication and coordinating complex office activities in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will provide advanced administrative support, manage records and reports, and assist with scheduling and project coordination. You will serve as a key point of contact for the public, answering procedural questions and guiding individuals through service processes. The ideal candidate will be adaptable and collaborative, ensuring high-quality service delivery while supporting the department's broader goals.

Hiring Process

Pima County Human Resources reserves the right to admit only candidates who meet the minimum qualifications. All applications are assessed based on listed education and experience, with further evaluation against preferred qualifications for those who qualify. The hiring authority will interview and select the successful candidate from a referral list provided by Human Resources. Additional assessments or testing may be required as part of the selection process.
