This 12-month, 100% onsite role serves as a critical support hub for the engineering and plant operations teams in Canton, NY. You will act as the operational backbone, reducing non-technical workload for engineers by managing complex logistics, documentation, and communication flows. The position requires navigating a DOD/ITAR compliant environment, meaning all work is conducted within strict security protocols requiring US citizenship.
Your day will involve coordinating the rhythm of the plant, from managing the daily 10:00 a.m. project meeting to organizing onboarding for new hires and contractors. You will ensure data integrity by tracking project spend, engineering metrics, and experimental parts, while also handling the logistics for external travel, seminars, and vendor visits. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, high-precision environment where anticipating needs and maintaining rigorous documentation workflows are key to team success.
The interview process consists of two rounds:
Candidates must be available to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional approved overtime. The initial contract is for one year, with a possibility of extension based on demand.
