About the Role
As an Activity Therapist, you will serve as a vital member of an interdisciplinary treatment team, utilizing your clinical expertise in expressive arts, recreational therapy, occupational therapy, and psycho-educational interventions. Your primary mission is to plan, organize, and implement a comprehensive program of ancillary services that addresses the unique capabilities, needs, interests, and goals of each patient.
In this day-to-day role, you will develop individualized treatment plans aligned with team objectives, facilitate therapeutic groups and skill-building activities, and establish strong therapeutic relationships with assigned patients. You will actively participate in treatment planning rounds, monitor patient safety, and provide spiritual, emotional, social, mental, and physical support. Additionally, you will act as a role model for the organization's mission, promoting a patient-focused environment and contributing to performance improvement initiatives and staff training.

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
