Activities Assistant (Full Time)

About the Role

As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by planning, supervising, and maintaining engaging recreation programs. This position exists to ensure every resident has access to therapeutic activities that meet their unique physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs, all within an atmosphere of fun and enjoyment.

In this role, you will be the face of our community's social life. Your day-to-day involves assessing individual resident interests to tailor activities, coordinating off-facility outings, and managing the logistics of our activity calendar. You will work closely with the Activities Director and other staff to foster a positive environment, acting as a liaison between the center and the local community to build strong public relations. Whether you are organizing a monthly newsletter, participating in fundraising projects, or simply sharing a laugh with a resident, your genuine enthusiasm and creativity are essential to our mission.
