About the Role
The Activities Assistant supports the Life Enrichment/Activities Department in providing meaningful, person-centered programs that enhance residents' physical, social, emotional, and cognitive well-being. This position is designed to engage residents in individual and group activities, promote participation, and help ensure a positive, enriching environment consistent with regulatory requirements.
In this role, you will work within a team of professionals to build positive, supportive relationships with residents, families, and visitors. You will help create and maintain monthly activity calendars, newsletters, and bulletin boards, while assisting with the planning and execution of special events, holiday programs, outings, and family engagement activities. The role requires a positive and energetic demeanor, imagination, creativity, and patience, as you will be working with a variety of people in a fast-paced environment.
Please note that some weekend hours will be required for this position.
