About the Role

As the Assistant Director of Nursing (RN), you will partner with the Director of Nursing (DON) to manage and deliver nursing services. You will play a key role in the planning, organization, direction, supervision, and evaluation of all nursing services provided in the center. This is a working manager position, requiring time on the floor with our residents and staff to ensure the highest standard of care.
You will assist the DON in ensuring the nursing department's compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as the implementation of center nursing core programs. Your responsibilities include maintaining records and reports concerning resident care, managing the nursing department within budget in the absence of the DON, and overseeing the orientation and training of nursing services personnel.
