Academy Development is a core pillar of the Camillo Companies, a vertically integrated real estate giant and one of the largest privately held development and construction firms in Texas. For over 30 years, the Camillo family has pioneered affordable housing solutions, constructing more than 30,000 homes across the Greater Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, San Antonio, and Bryan-College Station areas. Academy Development specifically drives the strategic land acquisition and development necessary to fuel the company's growth, including its expansion into new markets outside of Texas.
As an Acquisition Analyst, you will serve as a strategic partner within the Land Development and Acquisition department, reporting directly to the Director of Land Acquisition. Your primary mission is to produce actionable research and best-in-class underwriting support that empowers the team to make quick, informed decisions on prospective land and lot opportunities.
In this role, you will be the engine behind the investment thesis. You will conduct deep-dive market research to inform Academy's future positioning, perform rigorous underwriting analysis, and prepare comprehensive Land Books that summarize the merits, risks, and investment logic for the Land Committee. Beyond the numbers, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain critical databases, refine analytical tools, and assist in securing new deals. This is a fast-paced position designed for someone who thrives on turning complex data into clear, strategic narratives.
The Camillo Companies is dedicated to opening doors to greater opportunities for all people. We value a diverse and inclusive workplace and strongly encourage women, people of color, LGBTQIA+ individuals, people with disabilities, and veterans to apply. We are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and team members regardless of race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, national origin, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, genetic information, age, pregnancy, parental status, military service, or other non-merit factors.
Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of all responsibilities or duties required. Other assignments, projects, and duties may be required.
