The Risk Analyst will build the Risk Management team and serve as an integral part of day-to-day Middle Office operations at Leeward. This role is designed to support energy and congestion products trading by collaborating closely with Front Office, Operations, Back Office, Finance, Compliance, and Trading Systems teams.
In this position, you will calculate profits and losses, assess the risk exposure of the trading desk, and oversee all aspects of market risk control. Your work will involve risk identification, measurement, monitoring, and reporting across multiple energy commodity asset classes. Senior management will rely on your reporting to effectively monitor and control trading activity, ensuring robust governance and operational efficiency.
