The Accounts Receivable Collector serves as a vital link in our financial operations, responsible for the management and collection of an assigned group of station accounts. This role exists to ensure the health of our accounts receivable by identifying payment trends, monitoring credit limits, and reviewing account balances.
In this position, you will act as a proactive communicator, contacting customers via email and phone regarding past-due invoices and resolving billing issues or discrepancies with stations and sales representatives. You will also analyze credits due to overpayments or misapplications, ensuring they do not age past 90 days, and manage account releases, quick checks, and adjustment requests. Success in this role requires navigating multiple software systems, including AS400, CargoWise, OnBase, and GetPaid, while maintaining updated account notes and demonstrating strong organizational and communication skills.
