About the Role
We are seeking an AP Supervisor to provide hands-on support across key Accounts Payable operational functions. This is a dynamic, 2-month contract role designed for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can step in quickly with minimal ramp-up time.
The ideal candidate will balance processing, problem-solving, and team support. You will serve as a critical point of contact for internal and external inquiries, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently. This role is particularly focused on managing high-volume AP operations, tight payment cycles, and reducing backlogs within exception queues. You will also provide light oversight and guidance to junior team members, helping to maintain accuracy in timecard tracking and invoice processing.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleManage and coordinate rush payment requests to ensure timely processing
- check_circleServe as point of contact for internal and external inquiries to resolve issues
- check_circleSupport weekly settlement process including invoice validation and payment runs
- check_circleOversee team timecard tracking to ensure accuracy and timely submission
- check_circleHandle invoice processing and exception management including research and resolution
- check_circleMonitor AP-related inboxes to ensure timely responses and proper routing
- check_circlePartner with team members to reduce backlog and aging items in exception queues
- check_circleProvide light oversight and guidance to junior team members as needed
Requirements
- verifiedMinimum 7+ years of Accounts Payable experience
- verifiedPrior experience in a senior or supervisory capacity
- verifiedBachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience required
- verifiedW2 candidates only
Nice to Have
Experience in a high-volume, shared services environment. Experience working with ERP and AP systems (e.g., Coupa, Workday, or similar platforms).
