About the Role
This position serves as a vital support pillar for the Director of Finance and Accounting, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all accounting operations. The role is designed to facilitate the monthly close process, manage critical account reconciliations, and maintain the integrity of financial records within the Intacct system. By handling the entry of journal entries, fixed assets, and vendor invoices, the incumbent enables the finance leadership to focus on strategic financial planning and analysis.
The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between the finance team and external vendors, reviewing statements to resolve discrepancies and ensuring all payments are posted correctly. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, with a mandate to communicate any emerging issues directly to the Director of Finance and Accounting.
