About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Accounting Assistant to join the Finance Department. Reporting directly to the Controller, this role is pivotal in supporting daily financial operations and ensuring strict adherence to accounting standards. The position is designed to maintain the integrity of financial records while providing essential administrative support to the accounting team.
This is a temp-to-hire, full-time opportunity located on the near west side of Chicago (60607). The schedule runs from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, including a half-hour unpaid lunch break. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy while utilizing specialized software like Sage and Visual Shop ERP.

Requirements
