As a Universal Banker, you will serve as the primary interface for our customers, combining the precision of a teller with the relationship-building skills of a banker. This hybrid role is designed to assist customers with daily financial transactions while actively discovering their broader financial needs. You will not only process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and check cashing but also guide clients through opening new accounts and selecting the right products to support their goals.
Your day will involve balancing cash drawers, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the teller area remains organized and secure. Beyond transaction processing, you will act as a problem solver, answering inquiries, directing customers to appropriate departments, and cross-selling services like online banking and merchant solutions. Success in this role requires a professional demeanor, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting branch sales goals.
Candidates selected for an interview will be expected to demonstrate their ability to communicate effectively and handle confidential information with integrity. The process includes a review of your background in cash handling and customer service, followed by discussions on your experience with banking systems and your approach to maintaining a professional image in high-pressure situations.
