About the Organization
The Piedmont Triad Regional Council (PTRC) works to implement creative regional solutions to improve the lives of the community. Located in Kernersville at the center of the Triad, our vibrant office is situated on the southside of Interstate 40 at the NC Highway 66 interchange. We are a 20-minute drive to downtown Greensboro, Winston-Salem, or High Point, and our facility is equipped with an electric charging station.
Our organization comprises seven core departments: Area Agency on Aging, Criminal Justice, Economic Development, Community Development Services, Management Services, Regional Planning, and Workforce Development. Staff in each department specialize in serving their specific niche within the Triad community. PTRC employees are constantly looking for ways to innovate and expand our programs, enriching lives both inside and outside the workplace.
