About the Organization
The Piedmont Triad Regional Council (PTRC) is dedicated to implementing creative regional solutions that improve the lives of the community. Located in Kernersville at the center of the Triad, our vibrant office sits just south of the Interstate 40 and NC Highway 66 interchange, offering convenient access to Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and High Point. Our facility is equipped with an electric charging station to support sustainable commuting.
Our organization comprises seven core departments: Area Agency on Aging, Criminal Justice, Economic Development, Community Development Services, Management Services, Regional Planning, and Workforce Development. Each department specializes in serving a unique niche within the Triad community. We are constantly looking for ways to innovate and expand our programs, enriching the lives of our staff both inside and outside the workplace.
