About the Role
The Accounts Payable and Purchasing Supervisor serves as the operational anchor for the company's procure-to-pay ecosystem. This role is designed to ensure the integrity of financial transactions by overseeing the end-to-end flow from purchase requisitions to final payment. Beyond processing invoices, the position acts as a strategic partner to Operations and Accounting, driving compliance with internal controls, Delegation of Authority (DOA), and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) 404 requirements.
In this capacity, you will lead a team responsible for maintaining accurate vendor master data, resolving complex invoice variances, and managing critical month-end close activities. The role requires balancing the urgency of operational deadlines with the rigorous demands of audit readiness and financial accuracy. You will be instrumental in identifying process improvements that enhance cycle times while strengthening vendor relationships and internal controls.
