The Senior Strategic Account Manager (SAM) serves as the "CEO" of your assigned book of business within the State, Local, and Education (SLED) sector. This senior-level, quota-carrying position is responsible for the health, retention, and aggressive expansion of our most critical accounts. Your mission is twofold: ensure 100% net retention through impeccable renewal management and drive year-over-year growth by identifying and closing expansion opportunities within existing agency frameworks.
In this role, you will act as a strategic liaison between SLED clients and our Product team, influencing the roadmap based on government-specific compliance and needs. You will lead high-impact Executive Business Reviews that translate technical performance data into "public value" and "taxpayer ROI" for government stakeholders. Success requires navigating the "revolving door" of government leadership to maintain account stability during administration changes while leveraging existing contract vehicles to bypass traditional RFP hurdles.
