About the Role
The Industrial Products Account Management team is seeking a talented Account Management Representative to join our Cleveland office. This role serves as the frontline representative for Commonwealth Rolled Products, dedicated to providing superior sales and service to both current and new customers. You will act as a strategic partner, offering guidance and expertise to key customers while protecting the company's interests through the effective administration of account management processes.
In this position, you will manage a designated base of Automotive OEMs and Tier suppliers, overseeing the full lifecycle from prospecting to long-term servicing. Your day-to-day involves identifying sales opportunities, negotiating pricing, and coordinating with Key Account Managers on trial requests, surplus inventory, and new business. You will play a critical role in maintaining a zero-stock-out environment by analyzing forecasts, managing inventory levels, and collaborating with Supply Chain and IT to establish robust program requirements. Additionally, you will drive customer satisfaction by resolving deductions and claims efficiently, maintaining technical product knowledge, and championing our core values of Safety, Integrity, Customer Focus, Ownership, Excellence, and Teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleManage designated account base of Automotive OEMs and Tiers from prospecting through long-term servicing
- check_circleIdentify sales opportunities and negotiate pricing with customers for surplus inventory and new business
- check_circlePerform inventory management to achieve zero customer stock outs by analyzing stock levels and forecasts
- check_circleResearch and resolve customer deductions and overpayments within 18 days
- check_circleDetermine metal hedge requirements by analyzing forecasts and initiating hedging requests
- check_circleDerive unconstrained sales forecasts monthly by analyzing customer submissions and performance
- check_circleEnter and manage customer items, forecasts, and sales orders using Oracle tools and EDI systems
- check_circleMaintain product and technical knowledge base to support customers and internal teams
- check_circleParticipate in customer and supply chain calls to review open issues and drive resolutions
- check_circleContribute to quality certifications and audits by entering and completing corrective action requests
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in business related field or 2+ years' experience in commercial, procurement, or supply chain roles
- verifiedAbility to use computer applications, such as spreadsheets, word processing documents, databases, and e-mail programs
