About the Role

As an Account Executive, you will be the local face of Republic Services, responsible for identifying leads and proactively prospecting to sell our full suite of products within your assigned geographic area. This includes small and large containers for municipal solid waste and recycling, as well as electronic and universal recycling solutions.

You will partner with prospective clients to deliver sales presentations and close deals on total waste stream management solutions. Your day-to-day involves building relationships with key decision-makers, maintaining a thorough knowledge of our services and pricing, and anticipating changing customer needs by monitoring market behavior and competitive trends. You will act as a company representative at community events, trade shows, and chamber of commerce gatherings to increase our visibility and support local sustainability goals.

Our Strategy and Impact

For example, our Republic Services Polymer Center is the nation's first integrated plastics recycling facility, processing rigid plastics to promote true bottle-to-bottle circularity. We are also advancing decarbonization with 70 landfill gas-to-energy projects in operation, with plans to expand to 115 by 2028.
