About the Role

This is a strategic career opportunity located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. As an Account Director, you will serve as the primary driver for Lumen's full suite of offerings to Federal Civilian Agencies. Your mission is to set and drive account strategies that power your client's mission, leveraging the resources of an extended account team to achieve sales targets.

You will act as a strategic partner within the Lumen internal ecosystem, external partners, and the customer. Through a consultative sales approach, you will understand agencies' mission needs, modernization goals, and strategic priorities to deliver value-added solutions and an excellent customer experience. The role requires significant time conducting sales activities outside the office, engaging with decision-makers to gain strategic positioning, and identifying whitespace to build new stakeholder relationships.
