About the Role

This is a strategic career opportunity located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. As an Account Director, you will serve as the primary driver for Lumen's full suite of offerings to Federal Civilian Agencies. Your mission is to set and drive account strategies that power your client's mission, leveraging the resources of an extended account team to achieve sales targets.

You will act as a strategic partner, engaging in a consultative sales approach to understand agency mission needs, modernization goals, and strategic priorities. The role involves proactively hunting for net-new business within existing accounts, uncovering whitespace, and building new stakeholder relationships to create opportunities where Lumen currently has a limited or no footprint. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of the telecom and IT industry's competitive landscape and the ability to navigate complex government environments.
