As an Account Development Manager, you will drive new sales growth within the Pittsburgh Paints Company stores in the Florence, KY market. Reporting to the Regional Manager, your mission is to expand existing business year-over-year while cultivating new accounts within the commercial segment. You will serve as the primary field liaison, ensuring that customer needs are not only met but exceeded through strategic collaboration with store managers and employees.
Your work involves a dynamic mix of relationship building and strategic planning. You will keep abreast of current promotions, new product launches, and evolving customer service practices to identify growth opportunities. A significant portion of your day is dedicated to developing account planning strategies and analyzing segments to uncover high-potential accounts. You will utilize CRM tools to manage accounts, maintain detailed call logs, and generate reports to track progress. Additionally, you will facilitate accurate customer quotes to ensure margin targets are met in alignment with company pricing strategies.
This is a field-based role situated in the Florence, KY market. The position requires daily travel within your assigned territory; a valid driver's license is mandatory. To support this mobility, the company participates in a Fixed and Variable Rate (FAVR) program. This initiative allows you to drive your own vehicle while receiving tax-free reimbursements that cover both fixed costs (such as insurance) and variable costs (such as gas), providing greater choice and equity in your vehicle.
