City Year is an AmeriCorps program dedicated to helping students across schools succeed. Our teams of AmeriCorps members provide comprehensive support to students, classrooms, and the entire school community. Our mission is to ensure that students receive a high-quality education that equips them with the skills and mindset necessary to thrive and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
As a City Year AmeriCorps Member, you will serve as a student success coach and mentor for elementary, middle, and/or high school students. This is a paid, full-time, entry-level position designed for individuals ready to build themselves, give back, and help change the world.
Your service will focus on coaching and mentoring students to achieve academic success, improve attendance, and develop positive behaviors. You will plan and monitor individual student progress while collaborating closely with teachers on whole-class instruction and in-class assistance. While experience in these specific tasks is not required, you will receive 2-4 weeks of training at the beginning of the year and will work with partner teachers and school staff every step of the way.
To apply, visit joincityyear.force.com and submit your completed application online. For additional information on the application process, please visit cityyear.org.
City Year AmeriCorps members are as varied as the communities we serve. We are looking for passionate individuals who are committed to personal growth and community impact.
