About the Role
As the ACA Supervisor in El Paso, TX, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our detention facility operations. This position is designed to ensure strict adherence to the American Correctional Association (ACA) governing regulations and the Performance Based National Detention Standards (PBNDS). You will serve as the primary point of contact for tracking, inventorying, and monitoring facility compliance components, working closely with facility management, the SDDO compliance supervisor, and the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
Your day-to-day impact involves proactively identifying and correcting deficiencies in facility policy and contractor performance to meet ICE requirements. You will be responsible for the creation, implementation, and maintenance of hundreds of post orders and emergency plans, ensuring the El Paso SPC remains an accredited facility. This role demands a proactive approach to policy review, the ability to articulate complex procedures clearly, and the capacity to respond effectively to emergency situations, ranging from fires to facility disturbances.
Hiring Process
Candidates selected for this position will undergo a rigorous vetting process. The selection criteria includes:
- ACA/PBNDS Test: A written examination to assess knowledge of relevant standards.
- Oral Board: A panel interview to evaluate experience and situational judgment.

Depending on the specific contract requirements, you may also need to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance levels and access to military installations.
