We are seeking a highly qualified 4-9th Grade ELA Teacher in Cleveland, Ohio, who is passionate about bringing the curriculum to life for each student. This role is designed for educators excited to create a positive classroom environment that prioritizes student learning and social-emotional development. You will work within a growth-focused coaching environment based on frequent observations, debriefs, action planning, and progress monitoring.
In this position, you will utilize school-approved curricula that reflect the diverse educational, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds of the students. You will be expected to manage student behavior, communicate effectively with families regarding academic and social-emotional growth, and incorporate technology skills into daily classroom practice. The ideal candidate will be comfortable supervising students in various school settings, such as the playground and cafeteria, and will collaborate effectively with colleagues to implement school-wide culture expectations and norms.
