About the Role
As a Production Maintenance Technician at Swire Coca-Cola, you play a critical role in keeping our production facility running smoothly. Your primary mission is to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our assets by identifying, troubleshooting, and repairing problems that arise in production equipment and processes. You will be the first line of defense against variations in product quality, performing immediate repairs between shifts and during line changes to maintain our high standards.
In this position, you will not only react to issues but also proactively extend the useful life of our equipment through scheduled preventive maintenance. You will be responsible for preparing the production line for success by performing equipment change-overs and set-ups prior to production changes. Additionally, you may be called upon to overhaul and install new equipment, as well as rebuild and fabricate parts to manage inventory effectively.
Schedule and Expectations
This role operates on a rotating shift schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM (2-2-3-3 pattern). As a Level 2 employee, you will be expected to work overtime and on off days as needed to support business operations. The role requires the ability to perform essential functions with little to no supervision and includes the flexibility to work weekends and holidays as directed.
Application Instructions
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent degree/certificate) and be at least 18 years of age. Successful applicants must demonstrate the ability to learn and fully operate assigned production equipment, as well as the physical capability to lift 50 pounds. Note that forklift certification must be obtained within one month of hire.
